The 5 Love Languages® has helped countless couples identify practical and powerful ways to express love, simply by using the appropriate love language. Many husbands and wives who had spent years struggling through marriages they thought were loveless discovered one or both spouses had long been showing love through messages that weren’t getting through. |

When you hear the word champion, what is your first thought? Mine is always the Olympics, gold medals, championships and winners. The dictionary defines a champion as the victor in a challenge, contest or competition. So what does a family champion look like:
Family Champion noun \ˈfam-lē, ˈfa-mə-\ \ˈcham-pē-ən\1: Conqueror over their own bad habits, mistakes and negative triggers, enabling them to be a healthy, strong member of society. Effectively communicating with others, dealing with conflict without losing control, making wise choices, and learning to be more aware of their personalities strengthens and weaknesses.
2: Committed to creating and sustaining a healthy and happy relationship with all members of their family: being a better parent, husband or wife, daughter, grandparent, son, co-worker, and friend. These relationships will build strong marriages and families.
3: Ambassador, spreading the word about how our community can thrive with more healthy and strong relationships in families of all shapes and sizes. These stronger relationships help children have higher achievement in school, fewer instances of child abuse and domestic violence, lower crime rates, less poverty, a reduction in the abuse of drugs and alcohol and higher levels of mental and physical well-being.
Anthem Strong Families is creating Family Champions everyday by educating individuals, teenagers, new parents, married couples, engaged couples and dating couples with skills that will make their relationships strong and last the test of time. We are committed to creating a better community starting with the families in our neighborhoods. Sign up for a workshop today and Be the Champion!
