Dallas Black Marriage Day

We are so excited that you have joined with us to help celebrate strong marriages in our community. This year’s celebration was held on March 22, 2009 at the Orion Ballroom in Oak Cliff from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. Our theme this year was, "First Comes Love, Guiding Our Youth to Marriage". During this FREE event you hear a variety of artists and talents while enjoying hors d'oeuveres and desserts. This is a family friendly celebration for all ages. Feel free to visit the website to learn more about the event!

The 2008 celebration took place at the African American Museum at Dallas Fair Park on March 30th. Last year we were honored to have the Founder, Nisa Mohamad, as well as, Leon McCowan, the Regional Adminstrator for the Administration for Children and Families as our special guests.
