Strong Families Dallas Reloaded

Strong Families Dallas Reloaded is a 3 year project awarded to Anthem Strong Families by the Federal Office of Family Assistance and funded through the Administration for Children and Families.  strong-families

The purpose of SFD is to offer free, fun, interactive, skill based relationship workshops to the Dallas County Community. The Strong Families program will target at risk teens, adult individuals and parents, and engaged and married couples.  Workshops are provided through a unique 3 level program which offers a broad array of healthy marriage and relationship services designed family needs such as basic relationship education, parenting, anger management, finances, fatherhood.  For teens, workshops geared to  peer and family influences, abuses and excuses, bullying, and  goal setting are offered.

Qualified participants will also be able to take advantage of the level 3 case management system.  Individualized plans will be developed for participants that address job and career assessment, job skill development, English as a second language, education and training, and job placement.  Participants will also be able to access individualized financial help with the self-sufficiency calculator, individual development accounts, and financial education.
